As Op.Dr.Candan Mezili Medical Clinic, we attach great importance to ensuring the personal data security of our patients and the individuals we serve. Your personal data is collected, maintained, and protected by our Clinic in accordance with the fundamental principles set out in the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 and in compliance with the conditions of data processing. We would like to inform you about the processing of your personal data for this purpose.

The necessary technical and administrative measures are taken to ensure data security during and after the process of sharing your personal data.

 

3.  Method of Collecting Personal Data and Legal Basis

Your personal data is obtained through legal means in physical and electronic environments or through closed-circuit surveillance systems, using automated, semi-automated, or non-automated methods as part of any data recording system. Your personal data collected directly from you and from the physical and electronic systems of authorized institutions and organizations is processed based on the legal grounds listed below as set out in the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698:

  • Being explicitly stipulated by law (Law No. 6698, Art. 5/2-a),
  • Being directly related to the establishment or performance of a contract, provided that processing of personal data of the parties to the contract is necessary (Law No. 6698, Art. 5/2-c),
  • Being mandatory for the data controller to fulfill its legal obligation (Law No. 6698, Art. 5/2-ç),
  • Being mandatory for the legitimate interests of the data controller, provided that this processing shall not violate the fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject (Law No. 6698, Art. 5/2-f),
  • Personal data relating to health and sexual life may be processed without seeking the explicit consent of the data subject by our clinic, which is under the obligation of confidentiality, for purposes of protecting public health, preventive medicine, medical diagnosis, carrying out treatment and care services, and planning and management of health services and their financing. (Law No. 6698, Art. 6/3).

 

Your processed personal data may only be processed and transferred for the purposes specified in this information notice within the scope of the personal data processing conditions and purposes specified in Law No. 6698.

 

4.  Rights of the Data Subject

You may submit your requests regarding your rights under Article 11 of Law No. 6698, which governs the rights of the data subject, and regarding the implementation of the law, in writing or via registered electronic mail (KEP) address, or by using the electronic mail address you have previously notified to our clinic and which is registered in our system, or in accordance with other application methods stipulated in the Communique on the Procedures and Principles of Application to the Data Controller, to our email address info@candanmezili.com. You may reach our clinic for the necessary explanations and the application and information request form. We will conclude your request free of charge, within the shortest time depending on its nature, and within 30 (thirty) days at the latest — up to ten pages.
